For 4 weeks, students in Laura Standley's Directing class have been working on a unit they call 'Scene Lab.' They audition outside student actors, cast scenes, and rehearse on their own. They bring the scenes into class to experiment, receive feedback, and make adjustments. The scenes are then performed for a final presentation for public performance.

Come see the culmination of all of their work with 4 different versions of a scene from Anton Chekhov’s realist classic, The Seagull. About The Seagull: A group of artists gather at a country estate with dreams of love and success. A play about theatre, acting, ambition, love, and the difficulties that come with pressures of time, family, and society.
