Students from MCLA Theatre’s Directing class, under the guidance of Professor Laura Standley, present this contemporary theatre piece by Caryl Churchill. What is it like to live through the information revolution? With over 100 characters and more than 50 thematically linked scenes, the play explores the nature of information, identity, memory, and love. Through a kaleidoscope of short scenes, it poignantly captures the fragmented experience of modern life—the tension between love and survival, knowledge and forgetfulness—and how, amidst the vast expanse of information, people are still searching for connection and understanding.
